Child Pose

I went to friend’s yoga session the other day. I feel relax and happy with a peace of mind after the poses. One of my favorite is the child pose. All I need to do is to sit back on my heels and bring my torso forward until my forehead is on the mat. Arms can be extended or back towards the heels. If legs are uncomfortable it is advisable to put a bolster between the legs to the rest of the torso and then rest the head to the side. It’s so easy but it can makes our nervous system calm, lower blood pressure and relaxes body and mind. Since I have a little bit high blood pressure, it is good for me to perform this kind of pose for about 5 to 10 minutes every day.
