Watery Wednesday
Posted on Sep 23, 2009 under Uncategorized | No CommentIt was taken last August 17 during our tour at 1000 Islands. This Thousand Islands Bridge is the international bridge over the Saint Lawrence River connecting northern New York in the United States with southeastern Ontario in Canada. It was constructed last 1937, with additions in 1959, the bridge spans the United States-Canada border in the middle of the Thousand Islands region, from which it derives its name. The bridge is administered by the Thousand Islands Bridge Authority, an international agency.
The actual international border bridge crossing is between Wellesley Island in the United States and Hill Island in Canada.
The bridge is actually not a single bridge but rather a series of bridges that span parts of the St. Lawrence River, ultimately connecting both banks. The southern end of the bridge connects with Interstate 81 and the northern end of the bridge connects to Highway 401 via Highway 137. There is also an interchange with the Thousand Islands Parkway on the Ontario side. (Wikipedia)

It was yesterday when my friend told me through chat that I am the botd. I asked her if what is botd. She said just check out what is botd. Oh! it’s blog of the day. I smiled and happy to see my face on the front page. I am the blog of the day or botd as what my friend said. That was yesterday September 22, 2009 with my blog Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.
